Three INTEC academic journals are indexed to new international databases
SANTO DOMINGO- Three academic journals of the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) were indexed to international repositories MIAR, Dialnet y scilite, which will increase the visibility and impact of the academic works that are disseminated through them.
The magazine Science, Economics & Business was indexed to MIAR, a data matrix that is prepared with the purpose of providing useful information for the identification of scientific journals and the analysis of their diffusion. Both the CEN magazine and those of Science, Environment and Climate, and Science, Engineering and Applications, were also integrated into the databases Dialnet y scilite.
MIAR has records for more than 48.000 journals, but one search in this matrix from a valid ISSN number will return information on the diffusion of any magazine in the world in its analyzed sources, whether or not it is registered with its own record in the same database.
Its data matrix originates from more than 100 international journal repertoires, indexing and abstracting databases (citations, multidisciplinary or specialized), including the CEN magazine.
Dialnet, one of the largest bibliographic portals in the world, fulfills the objective of giving greater visibility to Hispanic scientific literature.
Although it focuses on the fields of Human, Legal and Social Sciences, it is constituted as a fundamental tool for the search for quality information.
Since 2002 Dialnet began as an open platform for library cooperation, with the possibility of having external users. Its origin lies in the Library and Computer Service of the University of La Rioja, Spain.
On the other hand, scilite originates from the names “Science” and “literature” in English, and is a comprehensive and free database for scientists using a new method of data collection and indexing of scientific material: crawlers pull the latest data from CrossRef and PubMed on a daily basis, adding newly published articles immediately to Scilit.
Scilit has academic content with more than 144 million scientific and academic research articles indexed.
Science Economics and Business Magazine
Science, Economics & Business publishes two issues biannually, including high-quality scientific and unpublished articles, technical and concept notes, book reviews, and doubly anonymous peer-reviewed literature (double blind review). She was born in 2017 and is supported by Area of Economy and Business of INTEC.
This journal was indexed in the repositories MIAR, DIALNET y scilite.
Science, Environment and Climate
Science, Environment and Climate is a scientific publication that, since 2018, contributes to the dissemination of original and unpublished results of basic and applied research on topics of Science, Environment, Climate, meteorology, environmental pollution and social factors that can cause effects on living beings and human activities. The publication is biannual and has a scientific and editorial committee made up of researchers with a recognized track record in their areas of specialization.
This 2022 managed to be indexed in the databases DIALNET y scilite.
Magazine Science, Engineering and Applications
It is a peer-reviewed scientific publication. Its thematic focus falls on civil engineering and other fields of engineering (environmental, structural, seismic, etc.). Science, Engineering and Applications It is inter, multi and transdisciplinary in nature and includes the scientific production of INTEC, as well as that of the international academic community. This biannual publication began to be published in 2017 by the Engineering Area of INTEC, and its purpose is to disseminate the results of original research, technical notes, book reviews, as well as technological advances in the practice of civil engineering.
Like the previous journal, it is available in international repositories DIALNET y scilite.
