Steps for the process of admission

Complete the admission application form by clicking on Admission request. This will create your ID (student registration) and you will receive the password in your email to follow up on your request. Keep it well!

Gather the original documents required for admission. You can verify the required documents by completing the application form.

Nota:
-If you do not have the MESCYT legalizations (of the certificate and transcript), you can provisionally submit a simple copy of them along with proof of processing with the MESCYT.

Deposit the original requirements in the Admissions Unit (Door 5, Edif. EP).

Payment of the right of admission: RD$5,880.00 for Dominicans and US$118.00 for foreigners.

Make cash payments at INTEC (Door 8, Edif. Los Fundadores) indicating your ID:

  • Payment of admission fee: The admission fee is payable on the same day documents are submitted and is non-refundable, unless the program is postponed by a quorum. RD$5,880.00 for Dominicans and US$118.00 for foreigners. Please note that this fee is charged after program opening is confirmed.
  • payment of the Postgraduate Admission Test (PAP): US$120.00. It can be exempted if you have a specialty or master's degree already completed. Get more information about admission requirements by doing click here
  • We only validate specializations for graduates, and there is no additional cost.

    Legalizations
    • Member countries of the Hague Convention: If the country of emission belongs to the Hague Convention, it must make the apostille of the documents and their translations into Spanish in the competent institution of that country.
    • Countries that do NOT belong to the Hague Convention: If the country of issue is NOT within the Hague Convention, you must legalize the documents and their Spanish translations at the Dominican Consulate / Embassy of the country where they were issued and then by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Dominican Republic.
    • If the translation is done in the Dominican Republic, it must be done by a judicial interpreter and legalized in the Attorney General Office of the Dominican Republic.

  • The minimum required index for the Specialty and Master's applications is 2.00 points on a scale of 4.00 or 70 points on the scale of 100 in the degree title.
  • The minimum index required for doctorates is 3.00 points on a scale of 4.00 or its equivalent at the master's level.
  • Those interested in pursuing a master's degree who have a Specialty or Master's degree are exempt from the Postgraduate Admission test; they must present their original degree to the Admissions Unit to make a simple copy. Not accepted Own Titles

Legalizations:

Important Observations

Academic index:
  • The minimum required index for the Specialty and Master's applications is 2.00 points on a scale of 4.00 or 70 points on the scale of 100 in the degree title.
  • The minimum index required for doctorates is 3.00 points on a scale of 4.00 or its equivalent at the master's level.
  • Those interested in pursuing a master's degree who have a Specialty or Master's degree are exempt from the Postgraduate Admission test; they must present their original degree to the Admissions Unit to make a simple copy. Not accepted Own Titles
  • If necessary, an interview with the candidate and the Program Coordinator will be requested.
Legalizations:
  • If you are waiting for legalizations (certifications) from MESCyT, you can provisionally bring a copy of your degree, grade record and certification request receipt.
