Steps for the admission process

  • Step 1:

    Complete the application form for admission by doing click here. Upon completion, your student ID and password (enrollment) will be created.

    Payment of the admission fee: RD$5,000.00 for Dominicans and US$100 for foreigners. Please note that this is charged after the opening of the program is confirmed.

  • Step 2:

    Gather the original documents required for admission. You can verify the required documents by doing Click here

    Note:

    - If you do not have the MESCYT legalizations (of the copy of the degree and the grade record) you can provisionally deliver a simple copy of them together with the proof of processing with the MESCYT.

  • Step 3:

    Deposit the original requirements in the Admissions Unit (Door 5, Edif. EP).
  • Step 4:

    Make cash payments at INTEC (Door 8, Edif. Los Fundadores) indicating your ID:

    • Payment of the admission fee: RD$5,000.00 for Dominicans and US$100.00 for foreigners. Please note that this is charged after the opening of the program is confirmed.
    • payment of the Postgraduate Admission Test (PAP): US$120.00. It can be exempted if you have a specialty or master's degree already completed. Get more information about admission requirements by doing click here
    Note: Dollar amounts are paid based on the dollar rate on the day to be paid. .
  • Step 5:

    Deposit in the Admissions Unit (Door 5, Edif. EP), the payment vouchers and monitor your admission status using your ID and password on the following platform: admissions.intec.edu.do/

Note:
- Those interested with a Specialty or Master's degree are exempt from the Postgraduate Admission Test (PAP), they must present their original title to the Admissions Unit to make a simple copy. You can obtain more information through the following link: click here

      • Countries that do NOT belong to the Hague Convention: If the country of issue is NOT within the Hague Convention, you must legalize the documents and their Spanish translations at the Dominican Consulate / Embassy of the country where they were issued and then by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Dominican Republic.
      • If the translation is done in the Dominican Republic, it must be done by a judicial interpreter and legalized in the Attorney General Office of the Dominican Republic.

      Important note

      Documents that are not in Spanish must be translated.

      Legalizations
      • Member countries of the Hague Convention: If the country of emission belongs to the Hague Convention, it must make the apostille of the documents and their translations into Spanish in the competent institution of that country.
      • Countries that do NOT belong to the Hague Convention: If the country of issue is NOT within the Hague Convention, you must legalize the documents and their Spanish translations at the Dominican Consulate / Embassy of the country where they were issued and then by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Dominican Republic.
      • If the translation is done in the Dominican Republic, it must be done by a judicial interpreter and legalized in the Attorney General Office of the Dominican Republic.
      To apply for the tariff in Dominican pesos:
      • You can submit a certificate of Permanent Residence issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX) and that it shows that it is valid for 4 years or more.
      • Foreigners with Dominican parents, must deliver the original birth certificate of any of them.

Important Observations

Academic index:
  • The minimum required index for the Specialty and Master's applications is 2.00 points on a scale of 4.00 or 70 points on the scale of 100 in the degree title.
  • The minimum index required for doctorates is 3.00 points on a scale of 4.00 or its equivalent at the master's level.
  • Those interested in pursuing a master's degree who have a Specialty or Master's degree are exempt from the Postgraduate Admission test; they must present their original degree to the Admissions Unit to make a simple copy. Not accepted Own Titles
  • If necessary, an interview with the candidate and the Program Coordinator will be requested.
Legalizations:
  • If you are waiting for legalizations (certifications) from MESCyT, you can provisionally bring a copy of your degree, grade record and certification request receipt.
