  • The international accreditation of the Caribbean Accreditation Authority for Education In Medicine and Other Health Professions (CAAM-HP) allows our graduates to continue successfully positioning themselves in specialized medical training programs in the United States, Canada, Europe, Latin America and the country.

  • This accreditation contributes to the institutional strengthening of the Medicine career, guaranteeing compliance with international standards in terms of structure, function and performance. Resulting in graduates who meet the educational requirements for continuing training and, therefore, suitable for professional practice in society.

    Thanks to accreditation, our graduates continue to successfully position themselves in specialized medical training programs in the United States, Canada, Europe, Latin America and the country, thus making them part of the international benchmark.

    • Accreditation is a validation that the academic program, the teachers, the internal processes and the buildings, the laboratories and the services of the university correspond to high international standards and allow to reach the objectives of Higher education.
    • Starting in 2023, the United States only recognizes the degrees of students who graduate from accredited universities.
    • More and more the field of work requires graduates of schools that have been accredited internationally.
    • Accreditation facilitates the process for students who wish to complete their medical residency, and opt for postgraduate or doctoral studies abroad.

    This accreditation has provided the possibility to ensure that students have an opportunity to do a specialty in the United States, to access the American Health system, and from another part of the world and that they will not be alibis in the perception and Pursuit of his dreams.

    This gives us a tremendous tranquility, but this does not mean that we already obtained the accreditation and that already concludes the process, now we have to maintain that accreditation and to keep it we must try to improve constantly and to solve everything that can and should Fix, so this is a job that started a long time ago, but still continued.

International accreditation: The medical school is accredited until 2023 by the Caribbean accreditation authority for education in medicine and other health professions (CAAM-HP) (accrediting agency recognized by the world federation for medical education, WFME). Currently in the process of accreditation extensión

National accreditation: Until 2024 by the ministry of higher education science and technology.
