INTEC in summary
INTEC in Summary is a synthesis of the most relevant characteristics and information that reflect what we are and offer as an academic institution focused on excellence.
- INTEC has four governing bodies: the General Assembly, the Board of Regents, the Rectory and the Academic Council.
- The General Assembly: is the supreme governing body of INTEC, composed of the founding members and those of the Board of Regents constituted in the General Assembly.
- The Board of Regents: is the management and legal representation body of INTEC and the legal administrator of its assets. It is composed of fifteen (15) people, among whom is the Rector of INTEC. By statutory mandate, alumni constitute the majority.
- The Rectory: it is the directive instance in which resides the maximum executive authority for the immediate government of INTEC.
- The Academic Council: institutional body that plans the academic policy in accordance with the guidelines of the Board of Regents. Its members are the Rector, who chairs it, the Vice-Rectors and the Deans of the Academic Areas and the Divisions.
- Each academic quarter consists of 12 weeks, 11 dedicated to teaching and one for the corresponding administrative processes.
