Rectory ratifies Dalul Ordehi as dean of the Area of ​​Social Sciences and Humanities


SANTO DOMINGO. The Rectory of Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) ratified in its functions the Dean of the Area of ​​Social Sciences and Humanities, Dalul OrdehiWho will remain in its features for a new three year period.

The decision was made after completing the performance evaluation process and receiving the final report of the integrated commission to analyze the contribution of the academic area to the institutional objectives. This procedure is contemplated in the Regulations for the Selection and Appointment of the dean or dean of the academic area, which authorizes the rector to ratify the deans for a second and even third period, after evaluating the results of his management.

When reporting on the decision, the rector of INTEC Julio Sanchez Marinez valued the management of the dean, and highlighted among other advances the International accreditation of the Psychology degree, projection and positioning of the career in Social Communication and Digital Media and opening of the Psychosocial Care Center (caps).

ordehi gonzalez es psychologist graduated from INTEC, recognized as Young National Talent by the INTEC Program With the Outstanding Students (FEET). Has a specialty in Initial Education or with a PhD in Psychology with Applied Cognitive Neuroscience Orientation Maimonides University, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Serves as professor of the Area of ​​Social Sciences and Humanities from 2012, and has held various management positions at INTEC as the person in charge of graduates in the Directorate of Permanent Education; in charge of the Scholarship Unit and Coordinator of training on cross-cutting issues for schools in Educational District 15-04 for the Center for Educational Studies (CEED-INTEC), within the framework of the School-Centered Continuous Training Strategy.

Also, it was Director of Curriculum Development, in charge of coordinating the reform towards the educational model by competencies and assumed the deanship of the Area of ​​Social Sciences and Humanities in 2020; at the time of that appointment, she was serving as Director of Student Services.
