SANTO DOMINGO. The dean of the Area of Basic and Environmental Sciences of Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC), Professor Leticia Mendoza, was ratified in her duties by the Rectory, so she will remain in the position until November of 2018.

The Rectory made the announcement after receiving the evaluation report presented by the Evaluation Committee formed by Professor José Feliz, Academic Vice-Rector; Professor Boanerges Domínguez, outstanding professor of the Area of Basic and Environmental Sciences; and engineer Rafael Marion Landais, past rector of INTEC.

The evaluation process responded to the mandate of the Regulations for the Selection and Appointment of the Dean or Dean of the Academic Area, which establishes that at the end of the period for which a dean of the Area has been selected, “the Rector may ratify it for a second or third period, after evaluation of its management ”.
