INTEC and ANPI start a diploma in Innovation and Intellectual Property for the Development of Entrepreneurship


SANTO DOMINGO. The Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) and the National Academy of Intellectual Property (ANPI) they started yesterday Diploma in Innovation and Intellectual Property for the Development of Entrepreneurship, which will train on how to create new companies with high growth potential, identify entrepreneurial qualities and the importance of protecting intellectual creations.


Anne Sophie Tejeda, Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEIINTEC)He explained that the importance of the diploma is that it focuses on entrepreneurship as something more than creating companies, "the creation of new companies has grown considerably around the world, but most of them close in less than 3.5 years," he said.


The course, which will be held until next November's 13, is aimed at entrepreneurs from all areas who are motivated to focus their business or identify new opportunities, university professors and researchers and companies and industries that develop new products, services and technologies.


Some of the topics that make up the teaching modules are "Creativity and Innovation in New Business", "Industrial Property and Inventions", "Entrepreneurial Mindset" and "Business Plan".


Through its Direction of Permanent Education, the academic institution informed that the diploma also seeks to develop the capacity to detect opportunities and design creative solutions of high potential products or services, and the tools to carry out a business initiative.
