INTEC carries out its ninth Career Fair in March


 Santo Domingo. In order to facilitate the decision making of high school students when choosing university degrees, the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) will receive for the ninth consecutive year students from different schools in what will be the ninth edition of its Career Fair, to be held on Friday 9 and Saturday 10 March of this year.  

Young people who finish high school and their parents will be able to find at the fair the opportunity to evaluate all the study options that the university offers them, as well as being able to take guided tours of the campus facilities, laboratories and the library.

The day will include talks on the implications of each career and the exercise of their future working life, as well as the facilities and services of INTEC as an institution of higher education. The Carreras Fair will address topics such as "Difference between skills and attitudes", "Vocation and profession" and "The importance of making an accurate decision about the career to study", among others.

News in the offer

INTEC has flexibilized its curriculum from 2010 to give more power of decision to the students on its curriculum; It has also expanded its double degree programs and the offer of unique careers in the Dominican market (Software Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanics, Mathematics with concentration in Actuarial Science, Chemistry and Aerospace, among others, the latter under the 2 + 2 INTEC Program PennState).

The university offers possibilities for international exchanges (Student Mobility), international scholarships, credits and discounts.

The Career Fair includes a special meeting with the parents and guardians of the high school graduates, aware of the important role they play in choosing their children's career and university. This year the meeting will be on Saturday, March 10, from XNUMX:XNUMX am to XNUMX:XNUMX noon.
