INTEC opens forums to discuss the national development strategy


El Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) reported that it opens its classrooms to socialize and analyze the National Development Strategy 2030 through a series of thematic forums that will begin on March 16.

The first forum will address the general vision of the strategy, prepared by the Secretary of State for Economy, Planning and Development (SEEPyD) and will have as a guest speaker Mr. Temístocles Montás, Minister of Economy, Planning and Development.

The second, which will be the March 30, will analyze the first two thematic axes, State and society; the third will be the 29 of April and it will deepen in the aspects of economy and environment. The last of the forums will study the financing and monitoring options of the strategy and its date will be announced later.

Miguel Escala, rector of INTEC, said that these spaces for debate and links with society are part of the six strategic priorities of the university, which has declared its concern for the quality of life of Dominicans.

The national development strategy will govern as law for 20 years, so the university makes a public invitation to companies, academics, graduates, students, state institutions, civil society organizations and international cooperation agencies to approach INTEC to participate. in the analysis and enrichment of this document.
