INCA and INTEC united for the country's health and safety at work


Santo Domingo. Through an alliance, Industrias Nacionales SA, INCA and the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo, INTEC, reiterated their commitment to Occupational Health and Safety, reiterating their willingness to support and contribute to the construction sector in the implementation of the Safety and Health Standard in Construction, Regulation 522-06, Resolution No. 04- 2007 From the Secretary of State for Labor.

INCA made available the facilities of its new Health, Safety & Environment Training Center, prepared to host training at practical levels of the educational programs administered by INTEC with the endorsement of the Ministry of Labor of the Dominican Republic. 

The meeting took place last July 18, in the Julio Ravelo Room and the INTEC Fountain, with the attendance and special participation of managers and members of the Association of Builders and Promoters of Housing, ACOPROVI.

The parties were represented by Messrs. José Miguel Vega Commercial Director of INCA, Eng. Ricardo Tejeda Director of Operations of INCA, Lic. Anacely Polanco Manager of Sales Civil Construction of INCA, Georgina Espinal Coordinator of the Master's Degree in Occupational Risks of INTEC , Lic. Fermín Acosta President of ACOPROVI and Mr. Junior Céspedes Hygiene and Safety Technician of the Ministry of Labor.

On the part of INTEC, Georgina Espinal participated in her capacity as coordinator of the Master of Occupational Risks and coordinator of Permanent Education programs. Likewise, members of ACOPROVI and INCA clients were present, among them Eng. Héctor Bretón Vice-president of ACOPROVI, Lic. Carolina Steffani, Lic. Fausto Díaz, Eng. Jochimin Pérez, Eng. Lena Ciccone, Eng. Jorge Montalvo, among others .
