INTEC's Career Fair presents academic offers to high school students

Santo Domingo.- About a thousand high school students from 35 schools in the country visit this Thursday the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC), together with teachers and counselors, during the seventh INTEC 2010 Career Fair.

Through this activity, schools from Santo Domingo, Higüey, El Cercado, San Juan de la Maguana and Bonao, among others, are presented with the academic offers of the institution. They are also given information on agreements and exchanges between INTEC and other international educational entities. In the same way they are explained the facilities of educational credits, scholarships, cocurricular activities, permanent education, admissions, evaluation, credit FUNDAPEC and on the International Center of Languages.

During the fair, lectures and workshops are also given to students, including: "Keys that you need to be a successful professional today "," Vocational Student Orientation "and" How to prepare to take the PAA Admission Test and enter the INTEC ".

Taking into account the important role of teachers in the classroom, a talk is held for counselors and teachers on the PREPA-INTEC: Evaluation, Accompaniment and Educational Training Program.

The INTEC 2010 Career Fair lasts two days and is organized by the Student Services Division, through the INTEC Enrollment Management unit.
