CLADEA Assembly discusses prospects of business education


SANTO DOMINGO.- The forty-ninth (XLIX) Annual Assembly of the Latin American Council of Schools of Administration (CLADEA) was held recently in Barcelona (Spain), with the participation of more than 200 members who debated around the theme "Leading in a world Global: Latin America and Europe, new connections ".

From the 3 to the 5 in September, a team of INTEC speakers represented the Dominican Republic and submitted its work to the blind peer review by a high level committee on the following topics:

  • "Legally illegal work proposal: Plan of activities for the analysis of cases with the support of technology", by Yolanda Disla, which is part of the thematic line of Case Studies in Management Education (Case Studies for Management Training) .
  • "Practices in stock market negotiations and their effect on the transparency of the Dominican securities market", by Luis Torres, in the thematic line of Economics, Financial Management and Accounting (Economy, Finance and Accounting).
  • "Vertical commerce and key industries: Evidence of the case of Puerto Rico", by Henry Rosa Polanco, framed in International Business and New Connections Between Latin American and Europe (Strategies of internationalization, Latin America and Europe, new connections). Rosa Polanco also participated as a reviewer of the program.

 

With representatives of more than 220 member institutions of 30 countries in Latin America, North America, Europe and Oceania, the CLADEA annual meeting is a meeting point where deans, professors and researchers converge with projects in search of new opportunities for participating institutions. becoming the most important academic meeting in this area based in Latin America.

The host institution of the meeting was ESADE Business School, in Barcelona. CLADEA is an international non-profit organization that brings together higher education institutions and other entities devoted to teaching and research in the field of Business Administration and Business.
