SANTO DOMINGO- Officially and as part of the 2023 Strategic Plan of the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC), managers and staff of the University Services Area directly linked to students, presented the "Warmth of service" project to the community.

During the launch event, the rector Julio Sánchez Mariñez, together with the vice-rector for Administration and Finance Alliet Ortega, and the academic vice-rector Arturo Del Villar, presented the project detailing the strategies to be followed within the SERVQUAL model, which works with standards of quality service worldwide.

El SERVQUAL model It was prepared by the experts Zeithaml, Parasuraman and Berry, with the purpose of improving the quality of service offered by an organization and focuses on the pillars of reliability, security, responsibility, empathy and tangible elements, aimed at both internal and external clients of the company. institution.

Currently, INTEC deploys a series of activities designed for all the institution's staff who work with clients. "We want to develop a student-oriented culture as the center of our processes, where we can feel the well-being that serving produces us and produce a smile of satisfaction in our students," said Kenia Bisonó, coordinator of the Exemplary Service department.

Under the strategic purpose "Demanding and welcoming institution", Bisonó visualizes a transformative change around the student experience. "Increasingly, tools, processes and policies that facilitate the achievement of the services offered to our Inteciana community will be integrated," she justified.  

"At the end of this year we hope to achieve services with high quality standards, the service as a marked differentiator in our students and graduates and collaborators happy to have provided a world-class service" is part of the expectations of the service personnel in relation to the strategy outlined by INTEC this year.
