They hold a fair on water purification in the DR

Santo Domingo.-  With the objective of raising public awareness about the importance of water sanitation in our country, the Dominican-Italian Chamber of Commerce inaugurated the “Fair on water purification”, with the support of Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo INTEC and Water Alaska.

The event held in the university square and the Julio Ravelo Room of the INTEC Fountain, brings together different companies dedicated to water purification and processing for their operation. Among the participating institutions are: EcoSolutions, Serralles, SRL, National Environmental Assembly, Environmental Law Institute of the Dominican Republic, SMC Corporation SA, Albatros and Societa Acta Treatment.

Within the framework of the activity that takes place until 6:00 pm this Thursday, October 11, talks related to the topic are given, such as: "Saving energy and fuel thanks to proper water management"; "Water and mega-mining", "Water purification of water in the Dominican Republic" and "Experiences in awareness projects on saving water", among others.

The inauguration of the meeting was chaired by Julio Sánchez, Vice-Chancellor of INTEC; Elia Odoguardi, General Secretary of the Dominican-Italian Chamber of Commerce, and Luís Salcedo, Director of Operations of the Aqueducts and Sewers Corporation of Santo Domingo, CAASD, on behalf of the Director, Alejandro Montás.
