Ratify the Executive Committee of the Board of Regents of INTEC


Santo Domingo.- The Board of Regents of INTEC ratified the members of its Executive Committee for one more year, for the 2012-2013 period. Three graduates of the institution continue the direction of the highest governing body of the university: Ana María Ramos as president, Laura Acra, as vice president and Claudia De Los Santos as secretary. The Rector, Rolando Guzmán, is also part of the Executive Committee.

Ana María Ramos has a degree in Business Administration from INTEC and a Master's Degree in Marketing Management from Barna, a School of High Management and specialized studies in the areas of her competence. Since the year 1999 has occupied the Advertising and Marketing Department of Grupo Ramos. Among its main professional achievements is the positioning of the brands La Sirena and Súper Pola, thanks to the design of effective communication strategies and the coordination of commercial campaigns and social marketing supported by these brands.

Claudia De Los Santos is Vice Minister of the Ministry of Public Works, graduated from Civil Engineering with a Postgraduate Degree in Construction Administration from INTEC. He has been responsible for important construction, transportation and infrastructure projects nationwide. He also chairs the Board of Directors of the Dominican Postal Institute.

Laura Acra has a degree in Business Administration from INTEC. He completed Master's studies in Finance and Insurance from the University of Hartford 1997. He was a member of the ANJE board of directors, as well as of the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement and EDUCA. He currently holds the position of 2nd Executive Vice President of the company Franco @ Acra Tecniseguros, SA

The Board of Regents is the highest authority and the legal administrator of the institutional patrimony. It is composed of fifteen members, among whom are the rector, outstanding people of the national community and graduates of the university who, statutorily, constitute the majority.
