INTEC graduates will have APP for job placement

Through a collaboration agreement signed between INTEC and QVITAE Dominicana, university graduates will be able toán opt for employment opportunities in their professional areas, as well as scholarships and other facilities

SANTO DOMINGO. The graduates of the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) they will have profiles within the QVITAE application a platform for labor insertion, which will allow them connect directly with the job vacancies in their areas professionals.

Integration is possible through a Collaboration agreement subscribed between rector of INTEC, Julio Sanchez Marinez, as well as the president of QVITAE Dominicana, Rafael Rodríguez Pichardo, in which the institutions also agreed to develop programs related to the world of work and the granting of study scholarships.

INTEC graduates are among the most highly valued in the national labor market, with an employability rate rising to 96% in the first year after completing their studies. This index reaches 99% in engineering careers. This indicator is one of the reasons why the university occupies first place nationally in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) world ranking and is among the five best universities in the Caribbean.

The QVITAE application allows employers to publish their vacancies and view the profiles of INTEC graduates who best fit their requirements.

INTEC's participation in the platform will be managed from its Graduate Relations Office, which also develops a job placement program called "INTEC looks for you a job", through which the university connects its graduates with the employer sector.
