Purpose of the position

To plan and develop the activities of the academic process corresponding to the subjects Sound Technique and Recording (LCC321) and Sound Techniques and Recording (LMD336) of the Film and Audiovisual Communication and Social Communication and Digital Media Degrees. Subjects of 4 credits that are taught in person.  

Summary of the position and desired profile 

• Professional with skills in the area of ​​sound recording in feature and short films.
• Academic training: Master's or Doctorate.
• Preferably with experience as a teacher in Higher Education.
• Proven professional experience as Sound Director in local or international film industry productions.
• Skills in the use of technology are essential.
• Communicative skills.
• Ability to manage human relationships.

Their functions are:

• Lead, guide and accompany the learning processes of students, through innovative strategies in a face-to-face modality, to develop their skills in the direct capture of the sound of dialogues, incidental sounds and the entire process of treatment and realization of this activity, so that the general message of the audiovisual work is compelling in their short fiction and documentary films.
• Use different types of approaches so that students recognize the main models of direct sound recording, their specific function and aesthetic possibilities, in addition to the technical handling and quality of sound recording.
• Comply with the schedule commitments and work plan of the subject according to the academic calendar.
• Comply with the main dates of the INTEC academic calendar.
• Provide feedback and follow-up with each student to collaborate with the development of their skills.
