Administrative and Financial Coordinator



Objective of the position

Oversee the center's administrative and financial operations. Develop and manage budgets and monitor expenses and revenues. Ensure compliance with financial and tax regulations. Prepare financial and management reports for the Executive Director and center partners. Coordinate and supervise the work of the Administrative Assistant.

Desired profile:
Professional with training in administration, finance or a related field.

Principal functions:

  • Supervise the administrative and financial operations of the observatory.
  • Develop and manage budgets, and monitor expenses and income.
  • Ensure compliance with financial and tax regulations.
  • Prepare financial and management execution reports for the Center's coordination and INAFOCAM, on the start, development, and closure of training programs, promptly reporting alerts arising from the process to ensure their effective and timely resolution.
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of the Administrative Assistant.

Recommended experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in an organization related to educational projects.

Required skills and aptitudes:

  • Financial management skills
  • Ability to develop and follow budgets
  •   Organization and planning skills
  • Knowledge of relevant financial and tax regulations

Modality of contracting: 

  • Project contract, defined by 1 year of service with full-time dedication in face-to-face mode.

Documents and process:

  • Send an updated resume and documentary evidence of the general and specific requirements.
  • Participate in interviews and evaluations as required.
  • Authorize INTEC to validate documents and obtain professional and personal references that it deems pertinent.
