Database Administrator (temporary)



Objective of the position

Manage the Relational Database instances that support the institution's business processes.

Training:

  • Academic degree in Engineering or Systems Degree, Software or related careers with equivalent experience.
  • Oracle Database, SQL Server Database, MySQL certifications.
  • Certifications or Courses in Database Administration.
  • Workshop, Courses in Database Management Tools.
  • Courses/Workshops/Certifications on Microsoft Products and Utilities.
  • Courses/Workshops/Windows, Linux and related Operating Systems.
  • Courses/Workshops on Volume Management and File Systems.
  • Courses/Workshops/Certifications in Backup Software.
 
Skills:
  • Design and Creation of Database Structure (Mandatory).
  • Administration, Maintenance, Operation, Optimization of Relational Databases.
  • Relational (Desirable: Oracle, SQL Server, MariaDB, MySQL).
  • Creation of Stored Procedures, Triggers, Jobs, Functions.
  • Use of Database Management Tool (Preferable: SQL Server. Management Studio, Oracle.
  • Enterprise Manager, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).
  • Cloud-based services.
Experiences:
  • More than Three (2) years of experience is required in:
  • SQL Database Management and Transact-SQL and PL/SQL programming.
  • Migration of Database Versions and Instances.
  • Data Migration from Database Engines from different Vendors (Mandatory).
  • Management of Jobs and Reports.
  • Infrastructure and Platforms as a Service (IaaS/PaaS).
Modality of contracting:
  • Contract for a defined period (1 year) and full-time dedication.
Documents and process:
  • Send an updated resume and documentary evidence of the general and specific requirements.
  • Participate in the interviews and evaluations that are required.
  • Authorize INTEC to validate documents and obtain professional and personal references that it considers relevant.
