INTEC will impart Specialty in Initial Education to INAIPI servers
The postgraduate program will be coordinated by the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities of the university and the National Institute for Training and Training of Teachers, will last for one year
SANTO DOMINGO. - The Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) will teach the Specialty in Initial Education to forty servers of National Institute for Comprehensive Early Childhood Care (INAIPI), with the aim of adding greater value to the quality of teaching management in the Centers for Comprehensive Early Childhood Care (CAIPI) and the Comprehensive Care Centers for Children and the Family (CAFI).
This postgraduate course is implemented in alianza between INTEC, INAIPI and National Institute for Teacher Training and Education (Inafocam), in compliance with the public policy developed by the Dominican Government, indicated the director of INAIPI, Berliner Franco during the opening ceremony of the specialty that was headed by the rector of INTEC, Rolando Guzmán.
At the meeting held in the Osvaldo García de la Concha auditorium of the university, Andres de las Mercedes, Executive Director of Inafocam, pointed out that it has been a concern of many years that Education I arrived at all la poblaciónIn that sense, it valued the programs carried out by the government of President Danilo Medina to achieve the training of the entire population, including the Plan Quisqueya Learn with You, Extended School Day, Digital Republic and comprehensive early childhood care through INAIPI.
De las Mercedes said that the alliance between Inafocam and INAIPI aims to strengthen the skills of teachers linked to early childhood training with a set of specialties and diplomas.
Specialty in Initial Education
La doyenne of Area of Social Sciences and Humanities of the University, Elsa Alcántara explained that the program of the specialty in Initial Education seeks develop in the participants competencies appropriate about the psychological theories y pedagogical that sustain the Initial education and its importance for the social development, emotional y cognitive of girls and boys, supported by personal experiences, in the family and community context.
Likewise, INAIPI servants who study postgraduate degrees will graduate with the ability to design and execute quality programs aimed at early childhood, from a conception of childhood as the center of pedagogical action and subject of their education. In addition, they will have the power to reflect on and confront previous experiences and knowledge to transform their practice in a creative way.
The dean recognized the role that INAIPI plays in Dominican society by supporting children, the child development of early childhood in the neighborhoods and areas of greatest need in the country.
