INTEC supports the strengthening of SMEs
National Award for the Quality of the Private Sector of the Dominican Republic
Santo Domingo. Dr. Rolando M. Guzmán, rector of Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo INTEC, reiterated the support that this institution provides to small and medium-sized companies in strengthening their processes and quality requirements, during the delivery of the National Prize for Quality of the Private Sector of the Dominican Republic.
On this occasion, the prize went to seven companies, awarding the highest distinction of the night to the tourist industry entrepreneur Frank Rainieri, who deserves the Business Trajectory Award.
The winning companies in the Great Industry category were AES Andres and Cemento Colón, with silver medal, while Bepensa Dominicana and La Fabril, were bronze creditors.
This year for the first time the service sector was included and they were winners in the Quality Award of the Great Company Human ARS and Universal ARS with silver medals; while in small company, Freewater obtained bronze medal.
At the beginning of the year, INTEC signed an agreement with the AEIH and the CNC National Competitiveness Council to help SMEs achieve the necessary conditions to compete for this award.
