Cervecería Nacional Dominicana joins the manufacturing of mechanical fans
The company will donate 250 fans that will be manufactured by INTEC, Rockwell Automation and other collaborating companies, which are also making progress in the manufacture of another 300 equipment
Santo Domingo. - The Dominican National Brewery announced that it will allocate a significant part of its profits to the acquisition of 250 mechanical fans, which will be manufactured by the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC), Rockwell Automation and a set of allied companies.
The company announced the donation after determining that ventilators are one of the most necessary and essential supplies to save the lives of people affected by COVID-19 in the country. Cervecería will make the donation to the Public Health authorities, with whom it has been coordinating this collaboration, so that they can be used where they are most essential.
“This International Beer Day would have been for us a day of celebration and toasts. However, we are at one of the highest peaks of the pandemic in our country and we cannot remain indifferent knowing that so many Dominicans need us, ”said Marcio Juliano, general director of Cervecería.
The executive added that this year they do it differently, taking the side of those who suffer the effects of COVID-19, as they have been doing throughout the pandemic, and they call on Dominicans to offer together hope, health, a best country for all.
This donation is vitally important at the present time, when the number of COVID-19 cases in the country has skyrocketed and the availability of fans begins to reach critical levels, according to the current authorities. These medical devices are used to provide assisted breathing to patients whose lungs or respiratory system have been severely affected, preventing them from breathing on their own even with the use of oxygen.
The institutions that also joined INTEC in the manufacture of mechanical fans are the Embassy of the People's Republic of China, AES Dominicana, the ministries of Public Health, Higher Education, Science and Technology (MESCyT) and the Ministry of Foreign Relations, Plásticos Multiform , Mafia de la Peña de los Fumadores, Rockwell, FARCO, the Institute of Professional Technical Training (INFOTEP), JPIM, Machmaker, Mecaproject, TSM, ADERCA, Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE), Acrlicos DR and Tony Rodamientos.
