INTEC Primary Care Center sees 161 patients in June

SANTO DOMINGO. - The Primary Care Center Dr. Evangelina Rodríguez, the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) offered 161 patients the free service of the office, vaccines, medication delivery and planning, during June.

The first attentions were offered to vaccines for newborns or infants under six months. Because demand has been increasing, the Center currently works by appointment on Mondays and Fridays. Patients are cited 20 minutes apart from each other, so that they do not crowd in space and ensuring that the safety protocol is followed.

Of the 161 cases attended in June, 143 were for vaccines, nine for insulin and medication delivery and nine for family planning.

"We are pleased with the help we are providing to all these families, who have expressed their gratitude to INTEC for the quality service and security received," said Jeannette Haché, director of the Diversified Business Department.

The Dr. Evangelina Rodríguez Community Health Center, under the supervision of the Ministry of Public Health, offers general medicine, gynecology, pediatrics, vaccination and emergency care services, with access to express ambulance services, especially for our students, teachers, collaborators , visitors and the community environment. In addition, it is the space for quarterly medical operations with various health specialties. In the center there is also a People's Pharmacy, from Promese, with medicines at popular prices.
