Master in Film Script

The Master in Film Script will offer relevant and updated training in an open space for experimentation as a way of knowing and testing specific procedures for the creation and writing of original scripts, from the film idea, its investigation from the camera, to its foundation as a future film project for its realization.

The Master in Film Script seeks to train professionals specialized in the area of ​​conceptualization, creation, design and writing of film and audiovisual scripts, with a high level of academic and professional excellence, who can transcend as dialogical, sensitive, productive and conscious beings of their reality and the value of their contribution in the context of local and global society.

The program is aimed at professionals in the field of cinematographic arts and techniques, literary arts, social sciences and humanities, as well as graduates in related areas of knowledge interested in writing screenplays for film and audiovisual media.

Graduates of this program will be trained to:

• Raise the aesthetic and communicational quality and effectiveness of film, television and / or audiovisual writing in the phases of conceptualization, design and production of film projects in relation to the variety of their formats and genres.
• Assume specialized advisory and consultancy functions at the level of collaborative projects with directors and producers of film and audiovisual media, aimed at making fiction films, documentaries, series for TV and digital media, videogames and film adaptations.
• Perform as coordinators or leaders of screenwriting teams in larger projects that require teams of writers with diverse areas of competence.
• Offer professional services as evaluators and adapters of already prepared scripts and as literary writers in the public opinion media and in specialized scientific magazines with content related to the cinematographic arts and social media.
