Master Curriculum Development

The master's degree in Curriculum Development seeks to train professionals who can design, implement and evaluate educational policies and curricular proposals that contribute to improving the quality of education.

• It favors the development of capacities to manage curricular changes from a contextualized, innovative, inclusive and participatory perspective.
• It promotes the curricular development of the institutions of the educational system, the conduct of research and the dissemination of the results for the purpose of improving educational performance in the country.

Professionals in the educational field with attitudes and willingness to influence, manage and evaluate curricular processes, with the aim of acquiring innovation and change in their educational practice. Applicants to the program must proceed and be linked to teaching or to any educational field and show interest in conducting research with the purpose of supporting changes and improvements in the curricular field.

• Expert in the fields of curriculum design and development, capable of implementing innovations in planning, evaluation and teaching strategies to improve learning.
• Be inserted in educational centers of the initial, primary and secondary levels, or in universities, as teachers, coordinators and directors of units or departments.
• Lead or join research teams interested in the production of theoretical and practical knowledge about curricular development and its relationship with learning.

The interested party must:

• Hold a university degree with a minimum of 2.0 / 4.00 or 70 / 100

• Interview with the program coordinator

  Legalizations

  • Member countries of the Hague Convention: If the country of emission belongs to the Hague Convention, it must make the apostille of the documents and their translations into Spanish in the competent institution of that country.
  • Countries that do NOT belong to the Hague Convention: If the country of issue is NOT within the Hague Convention, you must legalize the documents and their Spanish translations at the Dominican Consulate / Embassy of the country where they were issued and then by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Dominican Republic.
  • If the translation is done in the Dominican Republic, it must be done by a judicial interpreter and legalized in the Attorney General Office of the Dominican Republic.

  • You can send a proof of residence issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX) and that it shows that it is valid for 4 years or more.
  • Foreigners with Dominican parents, must deliver the original birth certificate of any of them.
