You will use your knowledge for the use, safely and diverse applications, of electric power efficiently and effectively.

The country needs competent professionals in generation, transmission, distribution and conversion of power and electric power; at the same time in the efficient management and in the development of new energy alternatives. This is a professional field that will always be needed for the development and sustainability of a country. The demand for electrical engineers in the Dominican Republic and in the region is significant, so this guarantees a series of opportunities when you enter the labor market.

As a graduate of this career you can work in any company that uses electricity as a central focus of their functions, just as you can be an entrepreneur developing products or services in those areas. We can take as an example the companies specialized in: energy efficiency, in renewable energies, in air conditioning, residential and industrial electrical installations, in communication, generators and / or electricity distributors, energy consultants and administrators, among others.

Through the 3+2 program you will be able to complete the last 2 quarters of your degree at the transfer university and have the opportunity to pursue the master's degree of your choice at the same exchange university. Obtaining upon completion the degree as an Electrical Engineer from INTEC with a master's degree at TEXAS A&M University from the several offered in the engineering department.
