  • Objective

    El propósito fundamental de la Especialidad en Abordaje Integral de la Violencia contra las Mujeres es desarrollar en las y los participantes conocimientos, habilidades y competencias en la implementación de un sistema integral de protección contra la violencia en todas sus manifestaciones, por medio de modelos transdisciplinarios e intersectoriales, dirigidos a prevenir, detectar, atender y sancionar con debida diligencia contribuyendo en su erradicación.
  • Graduate profile

    Las y los egresados de la Especialidad en Abordaje Integral de la Violencia contra las mujeres son profesionales altamente cualificados e innovadores que cuentan con el dominio de habilidades destrezas, actitudes y valores que les permiten tener un alto nivel conceptual y procedimental del abordaje más actualizado sobre el sistema integral de la violencia contra las mujeres, para desempeñarse desde un rol de liderazgo con sentido crítico, constructivo y creativo en el ejercicio de generar, implementar y dar continuidad a los programas para la prevención y atención integral de la violencia contra las mujeres desde una perspectiva de género y de derechos humanos, con gran compromiso ético y social. Tendrán la capacidad de proponer o desarrollar proyectos y estrategias para abordar la problemática de la violencia de género en diferentes estamentos sociales, tanto del sector político, social y económico en el ámbito nacional e internacional.
  • Competences

    • Es capaz de investigar, desde una postura crítica y ética, las causas estructurales de la violencia contra las mujeres en todos sus ámbitos y manifestaciones.
    • Ejerce liderazgo, viabilizando acciones mediante la administración efectiva de la justicia a favor de las víctimas, con miras a la garantía de sus derechos, resarciéndoles por los daños sufridos y evitando su revictimización.
    • Reconoce las implicaciones de un abordaje integral e interdisciplinario de las distintas formas y manifestaciones de la violencia, para realizar una gestión efectiva desde la aplicabilidad en su trabajo.
    • Propicia los procesos de construcción de una sociedad igualitaria desde el pensamiento reflexivo, crítico, tolerante y abierto, mediante la ejecución de actividades diversas de integración con comunidades y autoridades sectoriales.
    • Diferencia las principales teorías y conceptos que explican la desigualdad de género en la sociedad, y su consecuente vinculación con la violencia de género.

  • Requirements

    Admission process in 5 steps:

    1. Complete the online admission form through the following link admisiones.intec.edu.do
    2. Deposit the required documents in the Admissions Unit; Then make the payment of the application for admission and the PAEP test.
    3. Deposit the payment receipt of the PAEP test in the Assessment and Testing Unit.
    4. Attend the preparation workshop to take the PAEP.
    5. Take the PAEP test.

    • Photocopy of the identity card of both sides.
    • Certification and copy of university degree legalized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology MESCyT.
    • Certification and record of original university notes legalized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology MESCyT.
    • Medical certificate for academic purposes (with the name as it is on the identity card)
    • Receipt of Payment of the right to admission (non-refundable)
    • Two front photos 2x2.
    • Original birth certificate, certified and legalized.

    • If the translation is done in the Dominican Republic, it must be done by a judicial interpreter and legalized in the Attorney General Office of the Dominican Republic.
