A visit in English to the Dominican Republic

Santo Domingo. The Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC), held during the days 16 and 17 of May, the third version of the "Dominican Fair", better known as "Dominican Fair in English".

The annual event is organized by the students of the MESCyT-INTEC Immersion English Program and has the support and accompaniment of the International Language Center of this university (CII). In it, participants present the particular history of the Dominican Republic provinces, emphasizing their traditions, beliefs, food, music and dances, as well as their characters, sports, education and political life.

This project makes it easier for them to put their reading, writing and speaking skills into practice, allowing them to develop their analytical skills in another language. In the same way, they learn new things about their own country to communicate it to other cultures in a language other than the native one.
