A renewed portal for academic journals of INTEC

SANTO DOMINGO. The portal Plans academic journals of the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) has just to update la platform Open Journal Systems (OJS), a free code, Free, interoperable y solidary with others open codes, which enables proper management y knowledge transfer and online edition of academic journals.

Following high standards of usability and categorization of information, it is a more robust, dynamic version and offers greater infrastructural security while favoring processes of editing and data transfer in a more friendly manner, for the benefit of the entire community and, especially, of the Academic Areas of INTEC and its researchers.

The department Dissemination and Scientific Publications was in charge of the process of transformation of the portal, which facilitates semantic navigation, which guarantees a greater visibility of our publications; of dynamic interaction with users, while shortened la rue de recuperación of the Metadata. This version allows the optimization of the editorial processes and that users, in general, have a richer and more rewarding experience.

The benefits of this updated version of the OJS are many, but in particular it offers greater security in the infrastructure and platform, an flexible workflow, navigation it's more intuitive, Better Ergonomic design and high standard of usability, better distribution of the insights and integration of a forum tool.
