A meeting between graduates of Economics and Business


SANTO DOMINGO. An invitation to breakfast was the perfect excuse for a large group of graduates from the INTEC Business and Economics Area to put aside the routine, and get ready to meet up with their classmates and teachers, exchange ideas about the training trends required. the market, and know the news of the academic offer of the area from which they graduated.

The meeting rooms of a downtown hotel in this Capital were the space for the meeting, which was organized by the Economy and Business Area, in coordination with the Marketing and Promotion Directorate, and the University Graduate Relations Office and which was held headed by the Academic Vice Chancellor, José Feliz Marrero.

The words of welcome were given by Yahaira Brea, Director of Marketing and Promotion, who invited those present to learn about the renewal of the portfolio of programs in the area, particularly at the postgraduate, masters and specialties level. Next, the dean of the Area of ​​Economics and Business, Armando Barrios, and the coordinator of the Master in Human Talent Management, Perla Cuevas, guided the attendees in a dialogue around the trends in professional skills requirements that predominate in the labor market.

Similarly, they detailed the offer of MBAs, which have 4 concentrations in: Marketing, Finance, International Business and Business Management.

Barrios explained that the new offer differs from others on the market because it is characterized by a flexible curriculum, where the student has several optional subjects in which they can select those of their interest within the complete offer of all postgraduate programs in the area, with the aim of guiding their specialization.
