Goodbye in style!

Santo Domingo.- The Medicine Area of Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo INTEC held a small meeting to say goodbye to the teaching career of two of its teachers, Zoila Herrera, professor of Medical Genetics, and Dr. Víctor Molano, professor of Electrocardiography and Cardiology, who were part of the institution for 15 and 20 years, respectively.

Herrera and Molano, who withdrew from teaching on their own volition, received recognition plaques from INTEC's academic vice-rector, Leandra Tapia, who expressed her gratitude to both teachers not only for belonging to the university, but also for their delivery, commitment and attachment to the art of teaching.

“A good medical school relies mainly on good teachers. That is why the international community is proud to have counted on forgers like you, who with great dedication trained and guided so many medical graduates who today, even from abroad, put up the name of INTEC ", accented Tapia.

For his part, Raymundo Jiménez, dean of medicine, said that both Herrera and Molano stood out for being teachers who knew how to cultivate the affection and love of their co-workers, students and of all those who had the opportunity to meet them. "Not even those students who failed in any of their subjects, dared to make any negative comments about them. On the contrary. "

The meeting was also attended by Eduardo Santamaría, deputy deputy of medicine and the families of both teachers, as well as teachers, alumni and other work colleagues.
