Proyecto inteciano wins first place in Global Entrepreneurship Competition


SANTO DOMINGO. The amphibious vehicle WARA, created by a group of students and graduates of the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC), so that people with some disability can autonomously enjoy the spas, he got the First in the EO Global Student Entrepreneur Award (EO GSEA), the leading global competition for students running their own business.

The WARA project, which was presented at the Technology Fair INTECNOLOGY 2017 and was developed with support from INTEC Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center, He faced the business ideas of various groups from the Ibero-American University (UNIBE), the Pontifical Catholic University Mother and Teacher (PUCMM), the Pedro Henríquez Ureña National University (UNPHU) and the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD), which presented from apps and web pages to handmade articles.
