Apply for an Outstanding INTEC Graduate!

SANTO DOMINGO. The Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) opened the call for presentation of candidates for the presentation of the Outstanding Graduate Award 2015, a recognition to the professionals of the university who have performed successfully in their respective areas and who have made notable business, cultural, political contributions , sports or academic.

All members of the university community, including their students, professors, collaborators, regents, former regents and graduates, as well as legally established professionals and organizations, can submit their nominations.

In 2014 they were awarded Doctors Jaime David Fernández Mirabal and Víctor Elías Atallah Lajam, from the Health Sciences Area; Father Mario Serrano Marte, SJ, from the Social Sciences and Humanities Area; the engineer Francina Hungary, from the Engineering Area, Dr. Pavel Isa Contreras and Luis Abinader from the Business Area. The 2015 Outstanding Graduate Award winners will be presented at an awards gala on November 5 at the Hotel El Embajador.

INTEC initiated the delivery of the Outstanding Alumni Award at 2007, through its Office of Relations with Graduates and the Institutional Communication Department, to recognize its professionals who have performed successfully in their respective areas and whose business, cultural, policies, sports or academics (in the field of research, bibliographic production and in general scientific, technological, artistic or literary creation) have or have had a trajectory with evident social impact, showing in their performance attachment to values, to justice and human solidarity, attributes that make them worthy of being qualified as an inter-ethnic pride.

In eight deliveries, INTEC has recognized 54 of its graduates in the areas of Health Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities, Engineering and Business.
