Scientific Center announces the second Roundtable to find solutions to problems in the productive sector
The Scientific-Technological and Innovation Pole of the Northwest of Santo Domingo announced that, on the occasion of its third anniversary, it will open the Second Table of Projects for the productive sector in July.
This space makes available to the industries and companies the human talent, the research experience and the infrastructure of laboratories and technological equipment of the 17 members of the Scientific Pole to look for solutions to their requirements for improvements and innovation in processes, products and / or services.
The next Table of Projects will be from the 3 to the 7 of July, at the headquarters of the Export and Import Center (CEI-RD). The first was held at 2009 among the members of the group, which currently shares joint research initiatives.
“The objective is to favor scientific, technological development and innovation in the country through agreements to carry out joint projects between the productive sectors and the sectors involved in research, consulting and training activities,” said Miguel Escala, president of the entity and rector of Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC).
The event, also headed by Miguel Fiallo, rector of the Pedro Henríquez Ureña University (UNPHU) and by and Bernarda Castillo, director of the IIBI (Institute for Innovation in Biotechnology and Industry), was held in the Conference Room of the Library of the UNPHU, where representatives of the educational and scientific research entities that make up the group attended.
