Children share wishes of a better country before a Christmas tree
SANTO DOMINGO. The children of the fourth grade of the Fray Ramón Pané school, from the Los Ríos sector, shared their wishes that the Dominican Republic become a country free of violence, during the lighting of "El árbol de los sueños" of the Multimodal Resource Center for Learning (CREM).
The activity, which consisted of an afternoon of candies and Christmas carols, was organized with the objective that the children show their learning of the creative writing practices that are developed in their school, to contribute to the improvement of the teaching-learning process.
The tasks of elaboration of texts and preparation of cards were accompanied by the professors Griselda Tejada and Olga Gil of the School Fray Ramón Pané and Isabel Lora, Carmen Mena, Arelis Gómez and Isabel Vargas, of the CREM team.
At the rhythm of carols played by the INTEC Chamber Choir, the students hung their wishes for this 2015 in the Dream Tree of CREM, while they invited the professors, collaborators and authorities present to share their personal longings. , community and country for the new year.
Finally, the children shared a delicious snack of Christmas sweets with their teachers and members of the Intecian community.
CREM is a space for experiential, playful, scientific and innovative learning for students, teachers, mothers, fathers, researchers and anyone interested in learning and teaching. It is a unit attached to the Center for Educational Studies (CEED).
