Dominican doctors investigate eating patterns during COVID-19


Santo Domingo. –In order to determine the lifestyle and eating pattern of adults during the COVID-19 pandemic in the Dominican Republic, several Dominican doctors began a research project.

The data obtained will make it possible to provide the necessary recommendations to improve the global health and quality of life of the Dominican population.

The team of specialists is made up of doctors Jimmy Barranco, Jenny Cepeda, Paola Feliz, Manuel Colomé and Ana Carolina Báez, president of the Dominican Society of Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism.

The research is endorsed by the Area of ​​Health Sciences of the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) and the Dominican Society of Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism, and its dissemination will be based on the Health Summary portal (www.resumendesalud.net), specialized in the dissemination of medical information.
