They launch the first Observatory of Health of the country
Santo Domingo.- The Plenitud Foundation, in the framework of its alliance with the INTEC Health and Social Security Program (Proiss), launched the first Health Observatory of the Dominican Republic (OSRD) in a joint effort with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Dr. Heriberto Pieter Oncology Institute, the Mexican Health Foundation, the Harvard Initiative Global Equity and the Carlos Slim Health Institute.
among them: Gustavo Nigenda, of the Institute of Public Health of Mexico; Rocío Sáenz, from the National University of Costa Rica, former Minister of Health of her country and Ramiro Guerrero, of the Harvard Initiative for Global Equity, former vice minister of health of her country, who also coordinates the Observatory of Colombia, together with the Santa Fe Foundation
All addressed the progress of health reforms in their respective countries and the use of health metrics to follow up on them.
The second seminar will be held on Friday 21 and will address the theme of "Women's Health and Breast Cancer", with statistics and current approaches on the subject.
