The Brugal Foundation is committed to the comprehensive training of teachers

The Rector of INTEC, Miguel Escala, congratulated the Brugal Foundation for its work in support of education, and urged other companies to similarly support promising schools to support the transformations of the educational system. "The fact that the school bears the name of George Arzeno Brugal is at the same time a tribute to one of the Dominicans who cared most about education." He commented that INTEC is an institution committed from its beginnings to working for the quality of Dominican education.

"In education, more than in any other human experience, progress is achieved in the long term. That is why many prefer to carry out other actions whose results are more visible in the short term. But what we stop doing today in education will be charged by the future with serious consequences. We have an indefeasible duty to train generations of Dominicans capable of being competitive in a global economy that will be dominated by high technology, "said the president of the Brugal Foundation.

The diploma will be extended from January to June and includes 160 hours of accompaniment and 128 of workshops with educators. The program requires high-quality human and material resources to achieve its objectives. In the process, a coordinator and two specialists will participate. The technical staff of the project are professionals with extensive experience in INTEC, with the credentials and experience required in teacher professionalization programs, both in the form of continuing education and postgraduate.

The Brugal Foundation's agreement with INTEC is part of a broad program in favor of Education that includes the sponsorship of the George Arzeno Brugal-Fe y Alegría Educational Center, the support to all Brugal & Company families to guarantee training. of their children and the Brugal Fund for Education, which grants scholarships to university students who are pursuing priority careers for the development of the country.
