The Hive has a new Strategic Plan
SANTO DOMINGO. - After Several months de consultation at authorities, students y collaborators for the universityAs well as key figures of the public sectors y private for the Dominican society, Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) ha concluded the phase of drafting of the Strategic plan who will guide the academy from the 2018 until the year 2022.
La vision from the university is become in a space which inspires la knowledge creation, innovation y excellence, to contribute to sustainable development for the society, based on values such as excellence, el critical thinking y creative, innovation, integrity and social responsability.
INTEC's mission for the next four years is to continue being a plural university community and innovative, that form citizens y professionals ethical, entrepreneurs y competitive internationally, and that generates knowledge for the benefit of the Dominican Republic.
Strategic guidelines
The Strategic Plan, which was prepared under the guidance of the Balanced Scorecard Institute Nine-Step Methodology, established five strategic guidelines. The first one is the transformative learning, based on the fact that INTEC develops a learning system based on a flexible curriculum design, innovative methodologies y continuous assessment, in active search for socially relevant results.
The second is the knowledge, innovation and entrepreneurship, because that university is a referent en innovation y continuous search de opportunities de entrepreneurship, through the productive management of knowledge, based on attitudes of curiosity, inquiry habits and experimentation practices, for the transformation of society.
La linkage and social impact is the third guideline, which reinforces the apostolate of INTEC Act like change agent e innovation, through strategic alliances with key sectors, incidence en public policies and application of science and technology to problems relevant to the society.
The fourth guideline is sustainability and expansion, given that the academia grows de sustainable way, financially, diversified y environmentally responsible. Finally, the organizational capacities are established, because the INTEC It is a space that inspires el Continuous development of the talent, promotes a culture oriented towards Quality service and with transparency y accountability.
The 2018-2022 Strategic Plan is based on three main transversal axes: quality, virtualization and internationalization.
