Board of Regents presents changes


Santo Domingo.- The Board of Regents of INTEC presented new changes within its members. Three of its members, Lic. Manuel José Cabral, Dr. Pedro Ureña and Lic. Juan Barceló, completed nine years within the organization which, beginning in 2002, completed a total of three consecutive terms, for each one.

In a meeting held in the rectory of the institution, Ana María Ramos, President of the Board, expressed her pride at having had three people, whose personal and professional value is indisputable. "You represent an example for Dominican society, sincehis merits show that every achievement achieved entails a commitment to deliver to society the knowledge acquired", Expressed Ramos who proceeded with the rector Rolando Guzmán to the placement of Gold Buttons with Ruby to each outgoing member, as a symbol of recognition of their work.

In the same event, three new members were sworn in, who from the moment are part of the highest authority body of the university. They are Ing. Miguel Gil Mejía, Dr. Freddy Madera and Lic. Frank Rainieri.

In the closing words, it was emphasized that, with this act once again, the feeling of the INTEC Founders is confirmed, of creating a different and functional university, with a community composed of people of integrity and of selfless dedication, "It is the basis for achieving valuable results."
