INTEC and Banco Promerica carry out graduation of Diploma in Business Development and Innovation


SANTO DOMINGO. – Banco Promerica in collaboration with the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) celebrated the graduation of the first group of SME entrepreneurs from the Diploma in Business Development and Innovation under its Innova Promerica Academy program.

This program arises with the primary objective of strengthening the capabilities of small and medium-sized companies (SMEs), providing them with specialized knowledge that allows them to implement improvements and innovations in various aspects of their management, from financial to environmental sustainability.

The diploma, designed to respond to the changing needs of the current business environment, was carried out virtually, with four face-to-face sessions and a total duration of 56 hours, equivalent to 14 weeks. Participants had the opportunity to interact and establish meaningful connections with colleagues from the same segment, in addition to being guided by highly trained facilitators in each of the thematic areas addressed.

"In a context where innovation and constant adaptation were fundamental for business success, we are pleased to have launched this Diploma in collaboration with Banco Promerica, in order to provide concrete tools to SMEs to face the challenges of the current market," he said.
