INTEC and ANPRAS will train engineers in asphalt production and application

SANTO DOMINGO. The Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) and the National Association of Asphalt Producers (ANPRAS) formalized an agreement to train engineering professionals in the production and application of asphalt in the Dominican Republic.

Through this alliance, both entities will promote actions aimed at promoting the education, training and permanent updating of engineering professionals in topics such as asphalt, soil mechanics and soil study.

Likewise, they agreed to jointly develop courses, seminars, workshops and round tables, in which they provide experiences and resources to professionals in the area.

The meeting was headed by the rector of INTEC, Julio Sánchez Maríñez, and Ramón Gabriel Aguilera Quezada, president of ANPRAS. They were accompanied by engineers Daniel Medina, Ciprián Campos, Antonio Dell'Ermo and Jeniffer Ventura, from ANPRA.

INTEC was attended by the Academic Vice Chancellor, Arturo Del Villar, along with Gregorio Tapia, Executive Director of Development, Institutional Relations and Alumni, and Anny Sosa, Director of Inter-Institutional Relations.
