INTEC and ADECC will strengthen communication and advertising companies


Santo Domingo. -He Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) and the Dominican Association of Commercial Communication Companies (ADECC) work together to strengthen Dominican communication companies, through the exchange of experiences and personnel in the fields of teaching, academic linking, research and culture.

This is contemplated by a collaboration agreement signed by the rector of INTEC, Rolando M. Guzmán, and the president of ADECC, Eduardo Valcárcel, about the beginning of the career of Commercial Communication and Advertising in the INTEC.

The agreement also aims to encourage participation in research projects and programs and bilateral and multilateral development, as well as the participation of INTEC students in internship programs, and the promotion of joint programs of community service and social responsibility.

“We feel committed to you, as with other sectors, to provide a grain of sand that allows things to develop in a better way, for the benefit of the constituents and the Dominican population, which ultimately is a who we owe ourselves, ”said Guzmán.

This collaboration, Guzmán explained, from the perspective of INTEC coincides with one of the institutional principles: the linkage of society and with the productive sectors, and that vision is manifested through the Advisory Committees of the university, and in the signing of agreements with institutions that have the same affinity in terms of vision and perspectives.

In directing a few words during the signing ceremony, Valcárcel thanked the university authorities for the receptivity and immediate connection in the requirements for strengthen the communication and advertising industry, research and culture.

“As a guild that represents 40 members dedicated to communication in the Dominican Republic, I can affirm that this collaboration is a moment of happiness, since with it we increase the commitment to raise the level of the profession and make it more attractive,” he said.

The collaboration will boost the information generation to the market, one of the principles of the ADECC. “We are an association with the intention of being able to produce changes, more communication forums and contents, and generate data, patterns and tendencies of communication for Dominicans, ”said Valcárcel.

The firm, which was held in the INTEC Rectory Hall, was attended by Claudia Montás, executive director of ADECC; Sergio Forcadell, honorary member; Nonora Elmudesi, and Juan Fabián, managing members of that organization; and by INTEC, Ailín Lockward, Director of Institutional Relations; Yahaira Brea, Marketing and Promotion Director; Roxana Brady, Degree coordinator of the Area of ​​Economics and Business, and Soraya Pina, coordinator of the Degree in Commercial Communication and Advertising at INTEC.
