INTEC recognizes 35 sons and daughters of teachers and collaborators for their academic excellence


SANTO DOMINGO. In its tradition of recognizing academic excellence, the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) awarded 35 outstanding students at the primary and secondary level, who achieved an average grade of over 90 points in the 2022-2023 school year.

During the celebration of the 2023 Student Merit Award, the university presented scrolls to the sons and daughters of Mercedes Jiménez, Roxitte Nivar, Yanet Polanco, Javier Dickson, Alejandro Santos, Camelia Reynoso, Ysabel Batista, Lizaira Bello, Daysi Reyes, Alejandro Santos , Belissa Best and Katia Sanchez.

Similarly, INTEC recognized the children of Denny Rodríguez, Alejandro Santos Pérez, Génesis Aquino, Leocadio Gómez, Nathalia Rodríguez, Carolina Sánchez, Mario Feliz, Joel Jiménez, Nehomar Lezama, Juan Meléndez, Lorenzo Martínez and María Almánzar. Also, José Ezequiel Díaz, Jorge Miranda, Adriana Rojas, Israel Peña, Indhira De Jesús, Ramón Emilio García, Omar Ramos, Solany Marte and Yanay Ruiz Rosa.

During the activity, which took place in the Social Security Auditorium (OSES), the fathers, mothers, and siblings of those recognized applauded with joy and took photos with their cell phones, trying to capture the best angles of each delivery of certificates. The activity was preceded by Yaremi Cordero, Manager of Performance Management and Development of the People Management Department, and César Polanco, Manager of Development and Organizational Climate.

Nine of the sons and daughters of employees who were recognized received, in addition to their certificate, bonuses for the purchase of school supplies, for having achieved the highest grades. The highest qualification of the entire group was obtained by the daughter of Professor Jorge Miranda, with a general average of 99 in the last school year, followed by the daughter of collaborator Leocadio Gómez, who reached 98 points, like the son of Professor Yanay Ruiz.

Addressing those present, Polanco explained that the activity has the objective of encouraging the sons and daughters of teachers and collaborators to give their best and work for excellence. On behalf of the university, he congratulated the recognized students and the fathers and mothers, who accompany their children in their efforts.

At the end, the participants enjoyed a toast in honor of the awarded boys and girls, who enjoyed a pleasant moment with their parents and relatives.
