INTEC receives a visit from students from Guadalupe
High school students from the FORMAPLUS Apprentice Training Center (CFA) visited the INTEC campus as part of an international academic exchange with the aim of learning about the university's academic offerings
Santo Domingo.- Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) received a visit from a group of students from FORMAPLUS Apprentice Training Center (CFA), From Guadeloupe, French Antilleswho are enrolled in the program BTS Management Commercial Operations (BTS MCO), as part of a day of academic and cultural exchange.
The visit was coordinated by the Directorate of Institutional Mobility and the INTEC Business and Economy Area, with the aim of strengthening international academic ties, promoting the exchange of educational experiences and publicizing INTEC's academic offerings and model.
The agenda began with the reception of the visitors, followed by the welcoming words by Mariela Fermin, coordinator of the International Business Program and Maria Luisa Ferrand, director of Institutional Mobility.
In addition, several program coordinators from the Economics and Business Area were present, including María Martínez, from the Commercial Communication and Advertising program; Vladimir Pimentel, from the Economics program; and Ingrid González, from the Postgraduate programs. Afterward, icebreaker activities led by students from the academic committees were held, designed to foster cultural exchange and interaction among the participants.
During the meeting, a Brief overview of the careers in the Economics and Business Area, and Testimonials from INTEC studentswho shared their university experience and academic training within the institution. The day also included a dynamic activity of “Cultural Trivia – Business”, which allowed the exchange of knowledge and perspectives between both delegations.
As part of the program, a Guided tour of the campus, in which FORMAPLUS students were able to learn about the facilities, academic services and university living spaces of INTEC.
The visit concluded with a farewell toast, providing an opportunity to socialize and share with the INTEC students. María Luisa Ferrand, Director of Institutional Mobility, and her team—Mayelisa Hidalgo, Cristal Céspedes, and Oscairy Martínez—also collaborated during the event.
The activity is part of INTEC's initiatives to strengthen internationalization, promote intercultural dialogue and strengthen the comprehensive education of its students, through the exchange of good academic practices and educational experiences with institutions from other countries, on campus.
