INTEC presents 15 masters for competitiveness


El Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) presented a package of 15 masters and specialties for competitiveness, some exclusive to the university, in the areas of engineering, environmental sciences, business, health and education, elementals for the development and updating of the various sectors of the national economy.

  • Quality and productivity management
  • Tax planning
  • Management of international trade (double degree with the National University of Costa Rica)
  • Management Engineering (double degree with the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico).

Until Winners will be announced in March can register those interested in:

  • Engineering and maintenance management
  • Food science and technology
  • Sanitary and environmental engineering
  • Construction Administration
  • Structural engineering. (These last three with an option to Ph.D. if two additional years are studied at the University of Miami, which saves time and 75% of the cost of enrollment).

Until the 9 in April, those interested in:

  • Renewable energy technology
  • Environmental sciences (education or environmental management)
  • Specialty and masters in Bioethics (clinical or fundamental)
  • Specialty in administration of educational centers
  • Specialty in early education
  • Master's degree in human and sustainable development

Those interested must submit a series of documents to the Enrollment Management Office (809-567-9271 ext 369 or 280), where they obtain information on these. Some specialties and master's degrees require taking the Admission test for postgraduate studies (PAEP), that will be given the 26 of March to the 8: 00 am in INTEC.

The reception of documents for programs that do not require  PAEP it's up toApril 9 of the current year.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION TO POSTGRADUATES

Documents to be deposited by Dominican students

  • Application for admission duly completed and signed.
  • Faithful copy of the identity card or passport.
  • Original record of notes and photocopy of the title legalized by the Ministry of Higher Education Science and Technology.
  • Table of Contents 2.50 admission minimum (75 points or more than average).
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Medical certificate.
  • Payment receipt of admission fee (non-refundable).
  • Two front photos, size 3 x 4 centimeters.
  • Original, certified and legalized birth certificate in your country of origin.

If you did your studies outside the country:

You must translate into Spanish and apostille in the country where you did your studies the record of grades and a photocopy of the title. If the translations are made in the country where you studied, you must apostille it in that country. If they are carried out in the Dominican Republic, you must legalize them at the Attorney General of the Dominican Republic.

Validate the record of grades in the Ministry of Higher Education Science and Technology.

Documents to be deposited by foreign students

  • Application for admission duly completed and signed.
  • Faithful photocopy of the passport.
  • Record of original university notes apostilled where he studied and legalized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology of the Dominican Republic.

Minimum admission index 2.50 (75 points or more than average).

  • Photocopy of the apostille title where he studied.
  • Curriculum vitae. 
  • Medical certificate.
  • Payment receipt of admission fee (non-refundable).
  • Two front photos, size 3 x 4 cm.
  • Original birth certificate apostilled in your country of origin.

If your country is not within the Hague Agreement, you must legalize it in the Dominican Consulate / Embassy where you studied and then by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Dominican Republic. (Apostillar is legalizing the document in your country, by the instance that is authorized).

Note: For the double degree programs the original record of grades and the photocopy of the diploma must also be apostilled by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Consulate of the country offering the double degree.
