INTEC launches 2010 Business Ideas Competition

The purpose of the activity is for students enrolled in the university, regardless of year or career, to present through a written document the structured and short description of innovative business projects of their authorship. It details the product or service, the commercial opportunity it may have in the market, the target of the target audience or customer and its advantages, profits and competitive features.

This year the Business Ideas Competition, which is organized by the University's Vice-Rector's Office for Research and Liaison, has the support of Emprende, the Technological Business Incubator, the Secretary of State for Higher Education Science and Technology (SEESCyT), as well also from the member institutions of the Dominican Network of Business Incubators and Entrepreneurship-DOMINICANA INCUBA.

Students have until the first week of April to present their proposals. During this period and to provide information and / or relevant instruments to the participants and to commit more to the university community, educational workshops and special theme events will be offered, developed by the sponsoring entities. These workshops that will provide useful tools for each stage of the day, will be short sessions and free of costs.

At the end of the competition an act will be held to present the three most innovative ideas or projects and the creators will be rewarded, who are recommended to go to the "Business Plans Competition", where they can develop their idea and get to materialize .
