Technological projects that inspire
The university also presented innovative and research projects from INTEC's programs based on Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
The presentation of the Apollo 27 rover, the university team that won the NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge 2023. In turn, visitors were able to see some of the reach robots made in Hands-On, a subject in the Mechatronics Engineering degree in which students design and assemble various categories of functional prototypes, applying knowledge of mechanics, electronics and programming.
These models are designed to support high amounts of weight without losing balance with respect to their original center of mass, which allows them to prevent one or more objects placed on them from falling due to the action of gravity.
Likewise, they were exhibited products created by Industrial Design students. Among those presented were Cold Peak, a cooling product inspired by a toucan whose beak regulates the temperature of a container, in order to ensure that food does not spoil, turning it into a refrigerator.
Ammivo It is a smart planter kit that provides care for plants, establishes a friendly connection with the caregiver and promotes their growth naturally, like a true friend.
