SANTO DOMINGO. - The Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo It is one of the 38 institutions worldwide that is part of Babson Collaborative, a platform that provides access to best pedagogical practices, expertise, thought leadership, and facilitates connections between educators at like-minded member institutions around the world who are building and expanding their business education ecosystem.

La INTEC Entrepreneurship Directorate supports the strengthening of intellectual vitality in the Intecian community through this membership, which has different benefits for those who wish to join. In the case of collaborators, teachers and researchers, they will be able to access a exclusive online community which houses detailed information on programs, events and opportunities for members.

They also have at their disposal the academic content library, whose teaching and research materials shared by members are available for free download and use. There is a whatsapp community where members share articles and videos, solicit co-authors and reviewers, announce conferences and events, celebrate achievements, benchmark, and reflect on developments in our field.

They also organize open forums for members to share stories, challenges and best institutional practices in business education. in webinars and community conversations.

El Collaborative Research Group provides a platform for members to share research interests and resources and propose joint research. Collaborating member institutions get a complimentary membership to send an educator interested in women's entrepreneurship research; in the same way two educators from Babson Collaborative member schools will be invited to join Babson College as visiting scholars, which will generate collaboration between schools and result in academic research, case writing and other scholarship.

In the case of students from member institutions, they will be able to participate in the annual global student challenge in which they compete in a feasibility analysis of a new business concept that addresses one of the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations Organization. The Student Challenge is completed in two phases: a local competition at each participating member institution to determine the best student teams, followed by a global competition between the best teams from each institution. The grand prize is a scholarship to attend Babson Build in July at Babson College.

There is also the Babson Collaborative Student Network (BCSN), a global student club for select student leaders called “ambassadors” from Collaborative member schools who interact with a global network of peers, learn about business trends from experts, and develop leadership skills while planning events for a broader student audience.

As part of the institutional benefits include university partnerships and exchanges, access/support, and accreditation, in which global institutional commitments and affiliations, such as membership in the Babson Collaborative, are valued by accreditation bodies such as AACSB and EQUIS.
