INTEC and IDECOOP will teach cooperative management courses

Santo Domingo.- El Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) and the Cooperative Development and Credit Institute (IDECOOP) joined together under an agreement to work together in the organization of academic programs of permanent education that address the issue of the cooperative sector.

The agreement signed by Miguel J. Escala, rector of INTEC and Pedro Corporán Cabrera, minister and president administrator of IDECOOP, establishes that both institutions will execute in the next month of May the course "Management of the Partner in the Cooperative Company", directed to the sector cooperative at national level, as support to the training and qualification of the cooperative sector and diffusion of the cooperative culture.

These programs include the realization of courses, workshops, lectures, lectures, national and international seminars, internships for students within the different cooperatives, where they can regulate their practices and reinforce the exercises before the final expositions of their degree works , and likewise, strengthen projects of exchange and cooperative development coming from other states and countries.

The act of signing the agreement was carried out in the Julio Ravelo Room of the INTEC Fountain and in the same Julio Fulcar, president of the National Council of Cooperatives, introduced Narciso Vargas, who dictated the conference "Cooperative Education and University ".
